  • Hook: Somewhat confusing. Hook fact is uncited. Short enough. Suggestion: ALT1: ... that the original Melakarta scheme in Carnatic music, still in use today, has no scientific or mathematical rules?
Article: Long enough, new enough. Table and rules are uncited. AGF on offline references, no images.

Reply: ALT seems compact and good. Added multiple references (reference hard copy books only). You can also see document from Carnatic India website. Unfortunately the couple of other online refs on Google search are my own and hence did not cite them (at oocities copy of Geocities and at Webring).
