Medieval Faire (Canada's Wonderland) edit

Wonderland Theatre at Canada's Wonderland is themed as a castle.

  • Comment: This article was started in August, but only moved to the namespace today, from my user space. (Note that the DYK I reviewed is still pending response from the authors.) The main hook and ALT2 are both written with the hopes this can be DYK on May 6, or if the passing nominator wants to change the hook slightly to "tomorrow", the day before.

  • Removed my own comment - didn't spot move from namespace in article history Wikiwayman (talk) 17:00, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
  • Article is new enough and long enough. Features inline citations and correct editorial style.
  • Main hook reference shows the launch date of the new ride, but does not make it clear that there has been no other new ride since 2000 (uses a lack of evidence as proof of a negative). This could easily be fixed by changing the wording of the hook.
  • ALT1 checks out, the reference text is offline, but is quite obviously true from the other information
  • ALT2 isn't clear from the article text - would require some mathematics and a review of another article. Wikiwayman (talk) 17:18, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
  • I've fixed the article so that ALT2 is confirmed with online references. I guess I can see the main hook being disqualified, and sadly there's no RS to fix that, only fan forums. My personal interests lie more with ALT1's topic, but ALT2 is probably more "wow", being very near the world record of 17 (Cedar Point and Magic Mountain). -- Zanimum (talk) 19:38, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
  • Is there anything left to take care of? -- Zanimum (talk) 18:00, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
  • ALT2 is the preferred hook for impact, and is fully checked with an online reference. Wikiwayman (talk) 11:25, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

- Does no one else have a problem with this looking a lot like blatant advertising? PanydThe muffin is not subtle 11:56, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

  • The "opening today" is what makes it seem spammy to me. What about these? ▫ JohnnyMrNinja 23:21, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
  • If either alt3 or alt4 was used, it would be nice to still link to Leviathan, as it's the whole reason for the delayed posting to DYK. -- Zanimum (talk) 00:39, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
  • ALT4 checks out. I don't feel it's blatant advertising, especially without the "opening today" or even the "is opening" of ALT3. Suggest that whoever picks this up for a prep area uses Prep 1, since that will hit the main page at noon local time on May 6. Unfortunately, since I've done the approval, I can't also promote it to a prep area. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:35, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
