  • ... that Marcello Petacci (pictured) was riddled with machine-gun shots after trying to escape execution by throwing himself into Lake Como? Source: "Quando s'accorse che i giustizieri erano risoluti a farlo fuori, sfuggì a chi lo custodiva - era giovane e robusto - e tentò la fuga gettandosi nel lago. Lì fu crivellato di colpi." ([1])
    • ALT1:... that according to the head of the Fascist political police, Marcello Petacci (pictured) did more harm to Mussolini than 15 lost battles? Source: "(Petacci) faceva piu' male al duce di 15 battaglie perdute" (De Felice (1990) p. 1070 n. 5)
      • ALT2:... that Marcello Petacci (pictured) was compared by his enemies to Lorenzino de' Medici? Source: "e del fratello (Petacci) come di una sorta di Lorenzino de' Medici" (De Felice (1990) p. 1070 n. 4)

General: Article is new enough and long enough

Policy compliance:

Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
Image: Image is freely licensed, used in the article, and clear at 100px.
QPQ: Done.

Overall: New enough and long enough. Sourcing mostly OK except for one paragraph as noted above, and seems neutral and free of plagiarism. Original hook is interesting and cited, ALT1 and ALT2 are also OK and they are cited in offline sources. QPQ not yet done. I took the liberty of adding some categories and other minor edits to the article. All in all, almost good to go after the minor sourcing issue and QPQ are sorted. • QPQ now sorted. Xwejnusgozo (talk) 10:43, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
    • Hallo, thanks for reviewing! I sourced the first sentence. I removed the second, since I could not find any reference in the online sources (this article originates from a translation from wiki:it), but I added more sourced information about the context. Cheers, Alex2006 (talk) 13:11, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
      • The edits are OK and after rereading the article there have been improvements. I have some other minor comments which I had missed in the original review:
        • Biography section, last paragraph: "From the fall of the Fascist regime on 25 July to the armistice on 8 September 1943 he was imprisoned for his closeness to Benito Mussolini. He later asked Mussolini himself that his loyalty be rewarded and that he be compensated for his days in prison." (I slightly edited the sentence) - this needs a source (maybe this?)
        • Aftermath section, paragraph 2: "In 1957 his body and that of Clara were buried in the family tomb at the Verano Cemetery in Rome." - also needs a source

          • Thanks again for your careful reviewing! Your source is quite interesting, and works well for the first part of the sentence. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anywhere that he asked a reward to Mussolini (it comes for sure from an offline source) so I removed the sentence. For the Aftermath sentence I found 4 sources (two are pictures) which have to be combined together. Bye, Alex2006 (talk) 18:48, 6 April 2021 (UTC)

Seems good to go to me - well done! :) Xwejnusgozo (talk) 14:40, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
