Mags Portman, Greg Owen edit

  • ... that sexual health doctor Mags Portman and activist Greg Owen worked together to provide accessible HIV medication, preventing thousands of new HIV diagnoses in Britain? Source: "Dr Portman played a critical role in helping Owen, by approaching the General Medical Council (the governing body for doctors) to seek clarification on whether clinicians can recommend treatments to their patients that the NHS doesn't offer. The council's reply — that not only can doctors, but they must — changed everything." Strudwick 2019
    • ALT1:... that sexual health doctor Mags Portman and activist Greg Owen helped prevent thousands of cases of HIV in Britain? Source: "Her work is credited with helping prevent thousands of HIV infections." Reynolds 2019

Vycl1994, this nomination includes two eligible DYK articles. Please make sure to review both of them independently, and then review the overall hook. Flibirigit (talk) 18:38, 28 February 2019 (UTC)

For example, please see what I did at Template:Did you know nominations/Theodora Kroeber. I review both articles, then talked about the hook and/or other suggestions. Flibirigit (talk) 18:40, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
Providing more detail, as suggested above. Portmann is 2000+ characters, Owen 2500+, per the Javascript character counter. Both hooks are properly cited, and each quotation provided within this nomination are attributed to the correct source. ALT1 is the more concise hook, which is preferred. Vycl1994 thanks for the review. If there are no problems and you don't feel like you need another opinion, don't forget to update the status from "again" to "y". Enwebb (talk) 20:17, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
DYK passed after second editor review. Vycl1994 (talk) 21:49, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
