List of Ramsar Convention contracting parties edit
- ... that with the addition of Bhutan, Grenada, and Andorra in 2012, the Ramsar Convention has 163 contracting countries with 2,065 wetlands of international importance?

The rules regarding lists only count the text, not the list itself; thus this is well under the 1500 character minimum. Can you expand the lead? Also, the hook needs shortening to fit the 200 character limit. Espresso Addict (talk) 02:50, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
- I've shortened the hook and could expand the lead. But I think it would be more appropriate if I expanded the article on the Ramsar Convention and had this as a two article DYK. Fredlyfish4 (talk) 02:57, 17 December 2012 (UTC)

Date and length check out. Hook is short enough and all parts of hook are supported by online references. I have removed the credits for Ramsar convention as that article has not been expanded. The editor appears to be a newcomer to DYK, so there is no review requirement. Looks good to go. Espresso Addict (talk) 23:18, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
