  • ... that the Lancaster West Estate (pictured) was built on the site of the old slum where John Boorman's Leo the Last was filmed in 1970? Ref: Vague, T., (1 October 2012) Getting it Straight in Notting Hill Gate: A West London Psychogeography Report (London, 2012), 79.

  • New enough - created 1 day ago. Long enough - 1938 characters w/o spaces. Within policy - contentious material such as being a dangerous location are properly sourced. Hook is sourced, interesting, and appropriate size. QPQ is done. Image provided is not used in the article. @Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi: - do you want to add/replace the image in the article, or move forward without a picture? Argento Surfer (talk) 13:47, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
@Argento Surfer: Thanks for that- do you think t would be OK to replace it in the article? I didn't use it you see because it's the one where the fire was (i.e, bit too much WP:UNDUE on the fire?) — O Fortuna semper crescis, aut decrescis 13:53, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
@Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi: If it's where the fire was, I think it would be ok to add it as a thumbnail in the fire section. Argento Surfer (talk) 14:19, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
Image has been added, good to go Argento Surfer (talk) 15:49, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
Sorry, Argento Surfer, forgot to report back. Thanks a lot! — O Fortuna semper crescis, aut decrescis 15:53, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
  • I was about to promote this, but the source for the hook states that the film was shot in 1969. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:56, 14 July 2017 (UTC)

Maybe, but I would be happier leaving out the date,
  • Several paragraphs throughout the article lack any cites at all, per WP:DYKSG#D2. Yoninah (talk) 21:16, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
Yes I know. Here is the article as I left it- a nice tight stub. Then someone came along and turned it into the entire f***ing history of the area, and in doing so repeatedly lost references. So it's not my problem any more. Cheers, — fortunavelut luna 13:34, 18 July 2017 (UTC)
Well, then, it's not going to the main page. Yoninah (talk) 15:18, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
  • Marking for closure, since the nominator has effectively withdrawn from pursuing this at DYK, and the article no longer meets the sourcing criteria after a recent expansion. BlueMoonset (talk) 00:42, 31 July 2017 (UTC)
