La Parisienne (Renoir painting)

edit

Renoir's La Parisienne (1874)

  • ... that Renoir's oil painting La Parisienne (pictured) was shown at the first Impressionist exhibition, in Paris in 1874?

  • Comment: Not sure if it's worthy or not, but in April this year the first Impressionist exhibition celebrates its 140th anniversary. I know we don't normally store DYKs that long, but I only noticed it after the article was completed. FruitMonkey (talk) 17:43, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
  • New enough, long enough, well-sourced. There appear to be no copyright violations. The hook is interesting and short enough. I hope it will be possible to keep it for April, as you requested. Surtsicna (talk) 01:06, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
