- Comment: It would be great if this could run on Christmas Eve or a Christmas Day.
I think it is safer to say one of the largest importers instead of what is said in the Forward article. I believe German Life magazine is the same magazine as Austrian, Swiss & German Life. Alt hooks are welcome! Created by Thriley (talk). Self-nominated at 20:21, 15 December 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Kurt S. - ALT1 that Jewish refugee Kurt S. Adler, who started one of the largest importers of Christmas decorations to the United States, learned his trade while working as a US Army shipping clerk during World War II? Thriley (talk) 22:17, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- New enough, long enough, sourced without plagiarism. Hooks are both cited, verified, and interesting. I prefer ALT0, although I am not too picky. Noting that ALT1 will need to be trimmed a couple characters if it to be used. QPQ has been completed. This is gtg. Z1720 (talk) 02:12, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
