  • New and long enough, checks for copyvio reveals no problems (e.g. [1]), QPQ review performed, all non-lead paragraphs have inline citations. (Addendum: the image, which was added after this review, is properly licensed.)
A problem is that content of the hook is not presently verified with an inline citation to a reliable source at the end of a sentence that states this in the article, so this needs to be addressed. North America1000 12:19, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
@Northamerica1000: Fixed. Please reacces hook with image.KAVEBEAR (talk) 16:19, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
@KAVEBEAR: The source used does not state that this occurred in 1959, nor that it occurred after statehood. It's a paywalled article, though. Do you have access to the full article? Are there any other sources available to verify the rest of the hook's content? North America1000 16:28, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
@Northamerica1000: I have no idea either. Let's just focused on the referenced material then. Info is sourced in intro for below hook. KAVEBEAR (talk) 04:31, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
ALT1:... that Kini Kapahu (pictured) was recognized as Hawaii's "Honorary First Lady?" KAVEBEAR (talk) 04:31, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
  • Good to go for ALT1. That works. Struck the initial hook. North America1000 04:57, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
