- Editorial Comment: For a man who served his country in high offices for so many years, Kham Ouane Boupha remains a shadowy mystery. With six decades of national service behind him, little is known except for scraps of information about his government appointments. This article probably raises as many questions as it answers, while tracing a career that has gone from military leader to ecologist.

Looks good: new enough when nominated, long enough, seems neutral, no significant style problems (I just did a minor copyedit), QPQ done, hook interesting. I don't have access to many of the references, but those available online check out well, so I can happily AGF on the other references and the hook in particular.
