New, long enough, within policy, copyvio tool is down, QPQ done. I can't confirm that the 1975 Behrensmeyer source (as used within the linked Google Books page) is her dissertation for the article's text or the hook. I'll assume good faith if you can confirm that the book's sources pages say it is and I just can't access them. Please ping me if I don't respond. czar ♔ 19:57, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

I'm not entirely sure what you're looking for here. The sentence in the book reads "Comparison of the preservation of Morrison sauropods with that of large African mammals of Pleistocene age in Kenya (Behrensmeyer 1975) suggests that sauropods were as terrestrial as are Recent elephants." Her dissertation, 'The taphonomy and paleoecology of Plio-Pleistocene vertebrate assemblages east of Lake Rudolf, Kenya', is linked in the infobox as well, and was published in the Bulletin of The Museum of Comparative Zoology. This link also confirms that the 1975 paper is indeed her dissertation. Let me know if I need to shift references around or anything. Gobōnobō ⁺ ^c 21:54, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

The article's sentence included "Her dissertation, published in 1975" and I couldn't confirm the dissertation part from the ref. Between the links below and your vouching for it, I'll assume that the "(Behrensmeyer 1975)" part of the source indeed is her dissertation in the book's back matter.
