John Doukas Angelos Palaiologos Raoul Laskaris Tornikes Philanthropenos Asen edit
- ... that the unusual name of Byzantine noble child John Doukas Angelos Palaiologos Raoul Laskaris Tornikes Philanthropenos Asen has been described as "less an instrument of identification than a manifesto of social association"?

- I was just about to ask whether the title can be shortened when I saw that its length is the entire point. New, long enough, very well referenced. The hook reference checks out (Googling the quote does the trick). The author is a long-standing editor, so I can assume there is no close paraphrasing. Can we get the portrait? Any photograph of it should be in public domain and even if it's not for some reason, it should be fair usage since it's discussed in the article. Surtsicna (talk) 23:16, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
