  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but don't see an inline cite for the hook fact. Yoninah (talk) 21:29, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
Apologies @Yoninah:...I have amended. "Charles Darwin paid a visit to London Zoo where Jenny became the first ape that he met". On 28 March 1838, Charles Darwin came to the Zoo to see Jenny. It was his first sight of an ape. [1]. Whispyhistory (talk) 05:46, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
  • Thank you. But honestly, I think you could do much more with the hook. It was also confusing to me at first why the image shows the ape dressed in children's clothes; I thought it was a parody. If you want to retain the mention of Darwin, you could write:
  • ALT1: ... that Charles Darwin's visits to the London Zoo to see Jenny (depicted), an ape that displayed human-like reactions, reinforced his view that man was descended from animals? Yoninah (talk) 11:28, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
  • ALT1a: ... that Jenny's (depicted) human-like behaviour at London Zoo reinforced Charles Darwin's view that man was descended from animals? Philafrenzy (talk) 13:18, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
  • Thanks! We need a new review for ALT1a. Pinging @Ergo Sum:. Yoninah (talk) 15:10, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
  • Verified the hook. Ergo Sum 16:53, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
