Indila edit

  • ... that French singer-songwriter Indila, who has described herself as a "child of the world", is of Algerian, Cambodian, Egyptian, and Indian descent ...?
    • ALT1:... that French singer-songwriter Adila Sedraïa uses stage name Indila, which comes from her love for India ...?
    • ALT2:... that French singer-songwriter Adila Sedraïa uses stage name Indila, which comes from her love for India ...?
  • Reviewed: Template:Did you know nominations/Typhlodromips swirskii Note: this was a two-article DYK; I have already claimed it once for Template:Did you know nominations/Star Athletica, L. L. C. v. Varsity Brands, Inc. (a 1-article DYK nomination).
  • Comment: I was going to include the photo from the article infobox, but at the low resolution used for DYK it was too dark to be usable. ALT2 is just ALT1 with the link in a different location. Sources: 1. In English ("R&B singer and songwriter Indila was born in France of Indian, Algerian, Cambodian and Egyptian descent."); 2. In an interview (in French) with Le Parisien, she is quoted as saying: "I am a real Parisian, born in Paris. And a child of the world. My family is of Algerian origin, but also Cambodian, Egyptian, and Indian. My second name, Indila, comes from my insatiable love for India." (Translation of French: « Je suis une vraie Parisienne, née à Paris. Et une enfant du monde. Ma famille est d’origine algérienne, mais aussi cambodgienne, égyptienne et indienne. Mon deuxième prénom, Indila, vient d’ailleurs de mon amour incommensurable pour l’Inde. »).

5x expanded by AHeneen (talk). Self-nominated at 04:23, 20 April 2017 (UTC).

  • 5x expansion was valid (~4,500 chars readable prose from 700), long enough, well-referenced, neutral and free from copyvio issue. Original hook is sourced, appears in the article and is hooky enough. QPQ was done.— Preceding unsigned comment added by HaEr48 (talkcontribs) 1:36, 3 May 2017 (UTC)
