Increa Park edit

Increa Park
Increa Park
  • ALT1:... have a go!
  • Reviewed: QPQ = HB Endicott
  • Comment: moved to mainspace on 13th August

Created by FrOsmetti (talk), Labaici (talk), and Victuallers (talk). Nominated by Victuallers (talk) at 16:38, 18 August 2015 (UTC).

  • Article was moved to mainspace on date of submission, article is long enough (just over 1600 characters), image is licensed by CC, and no major policy issues, but the article could use some copy editing. The hook is under 200 characters and fairly interesting, if it is true. However, there appear to be two problems with this nomination: (1) the QPQ claimed by the nominator doesn't include a review by the author, so I don't think it qualifies; (2) The source cited by the article to support the information in the hook is in Italian, but I ran it through Google translate and found no mention of the park containing the longest "recycled plastic bench" in Italy. Unless I missed something, the QPQ and source need to be addressed before this nomination can proceed. -- Notecardforfree (talk) 18:23, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
  • Follow-up: I just realized Victuallers was the nominator, not FrOsmetti (who I mistakenly believed was the nominator). Victuallers did a review for HB Endicott, so the QPQ is satisfied. However, the issue with the source still needs to be addressed. -- Notecardforfree (talk) 18:26, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
Thanks. @Labaici:... can you check the bench? Is there any chance of a photo of this bench? Victuallers (talk) 19:20, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
@Notecardforfree:@Victuallers: Here you can read: "Degni di nota il lago, che occupa poco meno della metà dell’area, il roccolo dei tigli nel pratone centrale (recuperati dalla riqualificazione della via Manara), i tre meravigliosi platani lungo il viale dei gelsi, a nord del parco, e per gli amanti delle curiosità, la panchina in plastica riciclata più lunga d’Italia." English translation with GTranslate: "Notable Lake, occupying slightly less than half of the area, the bird snare of lime trees in central pratone (recovered from the redevelopment of the street Manara), the three beautiful plane trees along the avenue of mulberry trees, north of the park, and for lovers of curiosities, the bench in recycled plastic longest in Italy." I'm afraid we don't still have a royalty-free picture of the bench. I'll see if I can make one. Ciao, Labaici (talk) 08:17, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
@Labaici: Thanks for following up about the source -- I'm not sure how I missed the portion about the bench being the "longest in italy." Now that the source has been verified, this is good to go. However, please take a look at the discussion on the article's talk page about clarifying what the "Increa Farm" is/was. Thanks for creating the article!
