Improved to Good Article status by Makeandtoss (talk). Self-nominated at 18:07, 9 March 2018 (UTC).

  • Article was promoted to GA status, and nominated for DYK in due time. It is neutral, and cites sources inline. "Earwig's Copyvio Detector" reports moderate similarities of article text with source. However, they are negligible. The hook is well-formatted. Its length is within limit. Its fact is supported by ref #15, and not by ref #14 as stated in the article. QPQ was done. I will aprove after the ref issue is resolved. CeeGee 18:57, 16 March 2018 (UTC)
  • Comment: I see that there is a DYKN for the subject of this nomination's father. Since both of these have passed review, perhaps both of these DYKs can run on the same day, perhaps on a date significant to Jordan.--RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 16:55, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
@RightCowLeftCoast: no dates in mind. Battle of Karameh anniversary next week but thats not relevant to the hooks. Makeandtoss (talk) 17:16, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
Perhaps May 25 the date listed as the end of the Mandate?--RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 17:23, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
@RightCowLeftCoast: too late then and I dont see the point of it. Makeandtoss (talk) 17:40, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
Too late? Please explain. Approved/promoted nominations can be held for a special date for a considerable period of time.--RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 18:50, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
@RightCowLeftCoast: I meant that its not really worth the wait.
@CeeGee: Fixed the reference issue. Makeandtoss (talk) 15:32, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
  • Your edite was not correct. I guess you misunderstood my request. Anyway, I corrected the inline citation with ref #15. It's OK now. Good to go. CeeGee 05:58, 19 March 2018 (UTC)
