Hu Lanqi
  • ... that before Hu Lanqi (pictured) became China's first female major general, she was a magazine cover girl, a prisoner of Nazi Germany, and was invited to Moscow by Maxim Gorky?

  • Comment: Most of the hook facts are summarized in Stapleton 2008, p. 157.

  • New as of April 26, article is long enough (very easily so), article is neutral, cites properly, and I'm going to AGF that there's no close paraphrasing because these are all offline sources. Hook is short enough, and all of the claims in the hook are cited (separately). Image is PD. DYK present. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 02:02, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
