Overall: Thank you for this article about a great character and stunt diver. I have done a quick copyedit of the article, for British English - that does not affect DYK. If I understand correctly, you have four existing DYKs (excluding Haldanes), so you do not have to do a QPQ. I believe there is an issue, not yet resolved, about the year of Gadsby's death. I'll add a discussion to the article talk page, but at the moment I don't believe that it affects DYK, because you have valid reasons for not knowing the date without paying for the birth certificate, and you are under no obligation to do that. It would probably be wise to be a bit more vague about the date in the article, though. Storye book (talk) 15:30, 6 March 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for your review and kind words. It's a little awkward, given I write by default in British English(!), though I have recently become quite accustomed to writing in US English due to the type of articles I am editing, so I guess some involuntary crossover of spelling has occurred. I concur with your point about the DOB and have actioned this separately, hopefully to a satisfactory conclusion. Bungle (talkcontribs) 19:47, 6 March 2023 (UTC)
Thank you, Bungle, for tracking down the birth date, and for adding a great picture to the article. Storye book (talk) 11:06, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
