Fifth Siege of Gibraltar edit
- ... that the Fifth Siege of Gibraltar came to a sudden end in March 1350 when King Alfonso XI of Castile (pictured) became the only monarch to die in the Black Death?

- Per the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Did you know/GibraltarPediA Options, Gibraltar-related articles are temporarily being reviewed by two individuals. In addition to the regular DYK criteria, at least one reviewer should also indicate whether they perceive any conflict of interest or promotional concerns about the article under review.IP addresses and Victuallers are not allowed to do the reviews.

- The hook is long enough, article is long enough, hook is interesting, and article was new as of nomination date. AGF with the hook's source, but I confirmed he hook fact by other means. Per WikiProject rules, I reviewed for violations of WP:COI, and found no reason for concern and no promotional issues. This is good to go. Cdtew (talk) 00:50, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
