Enzo Francescoli

edit
  • ... that Enzo Francescoli eventually got to fulfil his wish to play for Argentine River Plate, despite the years of rivlary?
  • ALT1:... that Zinedine Zidane named his son after Enzo Francescoli just before the 1996 Intercontinental Cup and the two players swapped jerseys at the end of the match?

  • Comment: I would write the first one as "Enzo Francescoli eventually fulfilled his wish to play for the Argentine club River Plate, despite years of rivalry". However, this does not make it clear what the rivalry was. If you are referring to the Argentina-Uruguay football rivalry, I can't see a source in the article stating that this was a barrier to him joining River. The second does not have a source in the article. By and large, the article appears machine-translated, with some peculiarities. Furthermore, his later club career is included within his international career. The "Beyond the field" section is personal life of a BLP but is completely unsourced. All of his unsourced quotes in that section need sources, so not to misrepresent him, and I'm particularly concerned that the section states that he has smoked cigars from the age of 16 without a reference. Without major work across this article, I don't believe it meets DYK '''tAD''' (talk) 01:29, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
Understood. I will work more to improve the page. DaltonCastle (talk) 18:39, 30 October 2014 (UTC)
  • @DaltonCastle: It's been a month since an edit was last made to this article. There has been no evidence of any effort being made to address the concerns raised by The Almightey Drill. Are you still working on this or should I tag this as stale? Fuebaey (talk) 19:54, 22 November 2014 (UTC)
Go ahead and mark it as stale. I will address the issue but can't do it right away. There are a few things I've been meaning to work on first and I don't always have the most free time. Thank you for your patience. Although I'll work on it in the future, don't count on it being any time soon. DaltonCastle (talk) 18:43, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
