  • ... that actress Edna Loftus (pictured) freed her fiancée from an asylum after his mother had him committed?
    • ALT1:... that Edna Loftus (pictured) gave up acting to pluck chickens with her husband?

  • New enough, article created day of nomination. More than 6 times long enough. Article written in neutral manner (nice feat, considering the sensationalist reporting of the time) and each section contains numerous inline citations. No copying, close paraphrasing, or other copyvios found, and the article text is markedly different than the public domain sources. Both hooks are interesting, but I find the original more so. The first hook is directly supported by the inline citation within the article. The second hook is not, because the proposed hook says she plucked chickens "with" her husband, while the source says she plucked chickens "for" her husband, an important enough distinction I think it ought not be placed on the main page. Therefore I approved ALT0. QPQ complete. Image is in public domain, so no copyright issues there. It also displays well at small size. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 17:16, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
