Dynamism of a Cyclist edit

Umberto Boccioni, Dynamism of a Cyclist, 1913

Created by Philafrenzy (talk). Self nominated at 14:38, 11 February 2015 (UTC).

  • As soon as QPQ is done: New enough, long enough, and within core policy requirements (it is neutral, cites sources well with inline citations [accepting the three book sources in good faith], and has no copyright issues that I could detect). The hook is short enough, interesting enough, and properly referenced with an inline citation in the article. The image looks great: it is in the public domain, used in the article, and shows up well at small size. QPQ has yet to be done, which is the only thing keeping me from passing the nomination right now. As soon as it is done, I'll gladly pass this article.
PS: Great use of PD images to illustrate the development of Dynamism of a Cyclist, as well as illustrate related works for sake of comparison. It looks great! Michael Barera (talk) 02:56, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
Thank you! I may buy a bicycle. QPQ soon. Philafrenzy (talk) 12:15, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
I've slightly rephrased the hook ("Umberto Boccioni's 1913 painting Dynamism of a Cyclist (pictured)" instead of "Umberto Boccioni's painting Dynamism of a Cyclist (1913) (pictured)") to avoid using back-to-back terms in parentheses. I think it makes the hook a little easier on the eye, but please feel free to disagree with me and revert this edit. Michael Barera (talk) 15:18, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
QPQ done. Thanks. Philafrenzy (talk) 11:17, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
