- Yes, it meets everything, although I have high concerns about its notability. As I saw there were dozens of AfD nominations with the title "Disappearance of" and the results were mixed. - I considered notability carefully before creating the article, but have found a dozen national news reports and a dozen more covering the same ground that I haven't incorporates. The topic, defined as the disappearance in particular, I believe satisfies the requirement that it "it has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" - and can expand more fully if the article is ever brought to AFD.
