Denny-Renton Clay and Coal Company edit

  • ... that the president of Denny-Renton Clay and Coal Company was the first settler boy born in Seattle? Source: "Orion Denny, the first white boy born in Seattle, made careers both on the water and on the land...Orion's father Arthur bought out the Puget Sound Fire Clay Company, and renamed it the Denny Clay Company. Orion became vice-president of the company, and later, when Arthur died in 1899, president." (Alan J. Stein, HistoryLink essay 4026, 2002)

QPQ: More Hall Annex completed 5 December

  • Length, date, hook checks out, interesting topic. Close paraphrase not enough to be problematic (only handful of words). Nomination needs a QPQ, though (25+ DYK of creator). --Soman (talk) 04:11, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
  • QPQ done now. GTG. --Soman (talk) 19:33, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
