  • ... that 19th century anti-Chinese agitator Denis Kearney was once called "an unduely inflated sack of very bad gas" by U.S. Senator James G. Blaine?

5x expanded by Lexaxis7 (talk). Self nom at 02:30, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

  • No QPQ required as this is nomination 5 but going forward, will need.
  • Assuming article is at 5x now, expansion began 87 edits ago on December 10, 2006. Article has not been created or expanded 5x within the past 10 days (2036 days) D. Beyond this, article is not fully cited. --LauraHale (talk) 05:54, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

Not new enough or long enough. Not fully sourced. --LauraHale (talk) 05:54, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

  • Note: this had 3297 prose characters before expansion, and 8398 after; it needs 16485 prose characters to achieve 5x expansion, almost twice the size of the current article. It's extremely unlikely it will be able to be expanded that much, although the sourcing problems appear to have been solved. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:01, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

Nominator has not responded in five days to say they will expand more and seems unlikely they can. --LauraHale (talk) 02:22, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

  • It has been not quite four days since the post was made to their talk page, and Wikipedia standard is a week. I'd like to give those remaining three days, now that it's clear what needs to be done. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:44, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
