Davis Hollow edit

Davis Hollow looking upstream

  • ... that according to Walter Brasch's 1982 book Columbia County Place Names, some maps list the valley of Davis Hollow (pictured) as being in Fishing Creek Township while others list it as being near Rohrsburg?

  • · I tweaked the hook since Walter M. Brasch is a redirect to Walter Brasch, links should be direct whenever possible. It also shortens the hook, which was right at the 200 mark. I added an ALT1 omitting the not so necessary publishing date of the book to shorten the hook further. Article was created on 10 March and had reached good length, 2549 characters, when it was nominated on 15 March well within the seven days. It is well written with inline citations from reliable sources. No copyvio detected, text on the Internet is from the Wikipedia article, not the other way around. Neutral in tone. Hook facts are in the main text body and referenced. AGF for offline source for the hook. Picture is used in the article and is a Quality image with the right license taken by the creator/nominator. A beautiful creek and a pleasant article. Good to go. w.carter-Talk 20:35, 21 April 2015 (UTC)
