Cho Ki-chon edit

  • Comment: Promoted to GA status on June 29 (6 days ago). I have less than 5 DYK nominations.

Improved to Good Article status by Finnusertop (talk). Self-nominated at 19:53, 5 July 2016 (UTC).

  • A new GA nominated in a timely fashion with an interesting hook (cited to an offline source). This is your fifth DYK so QPQ is not needed, though if you nominate another article, it will be. You should be very proud of this article - it is quite interesting! Raymie (tc) 02:36, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
  • This is a great GA nominated promptly that sports an interesting hook which is cited to an offline source to which I give GF. A QPQ is not needed. All other criteria are met and the nominator should be haughtily imperious of this article - it is very fascinating! (per a decision in ANI, this nom requires two reviews) LavaBaron (talk) 16:53, 10 July 2016 (UTC)
Thank you, Raymie and LavaBaron. It's an interesting topic indeed - there are actually some related, notable bios that still lack articles - I might go for a Good Topic sometime in the future. Just one more thing: while you can probably find the source in print as well, I'm citing an online version. Note how the ref has a doi associated with it. Dois uniquely identify online resources and serve as persistent links. This is good news for verifiability, of course. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 23:00, 10 July 2016 (UTC)
I'm glad to see you used DOIs. That's a good best practice in citations and I wish more Wikipedia articles used them where possible. Raymie (tc) 23:59, 10 July 2016 (UTC)
