  • . Expanded on 17 June 2017. QPQ done. Article is over 3,000 characters. Hook verified. Hook is interesting. Sagecandor (talk) 14:45, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
  • Comment to Promoter - can this be placed #1 in the queue. Thanks.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 20:17, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this (actually, to the quirky slot), but the hook is a little "flat". OK, so Dr. Pepper was named after someone named Pepper. Perhaps you could "juice up" the hook some way, like:
  • ALT: ... that 19th-century medical doctor Charles T. Pepper was the original inspiration for the Dr Pepper brand soft drink? Yoninah (talk) 19:02, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
  • ALT2: ... that 19th-century medical doctor Charles T. Pepper was the original inspiration for the Dr Pepper brand soft drink (1910 trademark shown)? --Doug Coldwell (talk) 19:15, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
  • ALT3: ... that American Civil War Confederate surgeon Charles T. Pepper was the original inspiration for the Dr Pepper brand soft drink (1910 trademark shown)?
@Yoninah: I propose ALT2 and ALT3 hook and therefore struck out the original and ALT hook submitted.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 19:15, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
  • Thanks. But since I added a fact to the hook, it needs to be signed off by another reviewer. Yoninah (talk) 19:29, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
  • Well, I do like ALT3 a lot (I was also thinking of proposing it!). ALT3 hook ref verified and cited inline. ALT3 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 22:42, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
  • Agree with Yoninah on ALT3. Good to Go. Sagecandor (talk) 20:17, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
