Chapel Hill, North Carolina

edit

(edit nomination page)

  • ... that in 1968 Chapel Hill became the first predominantly white municipality in the Southern US to elect an African American mayor?

5x expanded by Tnbailey09 (talk). Self nom at 13:48, 16 August 2011 (UTC)

  • Hasn't been expanded anywhere near five times as far as I can see. Yomanganitalk 15:08, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
Hook: Got my attention. I have rewritten it for more universal understanding (i.e. so everyone around the world can understand it). Fact is cited, length is fine.
Article: I don't see a 5x expansion; I see a 1.2x expansion from this to Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Sorry.
Summary: Needs another 38000 chars before it reaches 5x. Crisco 1492 (talk) 16:06, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
I'm rejecting this one for the reasons pointed out above. Also, Tnbailey09, for future nominations, please follow the instructions at T:TDYK#How to post a new nomination and fill out the pre-loaded form, rather than directly copying and pasting the code of an old nomination and trying to modify it. rʨanaɢ (talk) 17:30, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
