  • ... that Carl Edgar Myers was the first person to take title claim of aeronautical engineer (his sky-cycle shown) ?

  • I am reviewing this long article.Nvvchar. 15:52, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
  • Very interesting and long artcle posted by due date with large number of refrences with and without url. Did some minor copy edits. Hook is interesting, cited at ref 4, and verified. No copy vio noted from refs with urls but many references are AGF. Article maintains neutrality. Img is licensed but its validity outside USA is not known. QPQ done. I feel the article is good to go and left to the promoter to take it to main page.Nvvchar. 03:30, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
  • Comment to promoter - Could this be run as #1 in the queue with the image. I believe it would attract a lot of viewers. Thanks.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 11:38, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
  • Reopening for further discussion after concern raised at WT:DYK that sourcing this claim to a blog post isn't good enough. BencherliteTalk 11:21, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
  • ALT1 - ... that Carl Edgar Myers invented an air-bicycle (illustrated) that navigated through the air like a bicycle?--Doug Coldwell (talk) 11:54, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
  • ALT2 - ... that Carl Edgar Myers invented an air-bicycle (illustrated) that navigated through the air like driving a bicycle?--Doug Coldwell (talk) 17:22, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
  • Comment to promoter - After ALT1 or ALT2 approval could this be put back as #1 in a queue with the air-bicycle image offered. Thanks.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 13:16, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
  • ALT1 and ALT2 seem good to me, with plenty of inline citations that I can't access. The new image is in the public domain, and I agree with Doug Coldwell that this nomination deserves an image slot in the hook set. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:47, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
