  • The article is new enough, long enough, and abides by all the relevant policies (referencing, neutrality, plagiarism). Hook length is well within the limit and interesting. The land battles in question are the battles of St. Charles and Arkansas Post, both of which are in the article and can be confirmed via the source provided. I was somewhat thrown off at first because the information doesn't appear in one place, but I don't object, given that the hook accurately reflects well-referenced content.
