Angela of the Cross edit

St. Angela of the Cross in her youth alt=A sepia-toned picture of a young nun in a habit

  • ... that Saint Angela of the Cross (pictured), a Spanish saint and founder of The Sisters of the Company of the Cross, worked as a boot and shoe repairer until she was 29 years old?

Article age, length, policy OK. Hook length OK, but is not cited directly. I can't locate the cited fact in the given citations. Please cite the hook, or select another one. --Esprqii (talk) 00:26, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I see your point. I seem to have picked that fact up from the Spanish version with the intention of citing it but there seem to be no on-line citations available. My second suggestion for a hook would be "...that the body of Saint Angela of the Cross was exhibited for a week in a glass coffin as part of the celbrations of her achieving sainthood." There is even a photo at the reference site. I hope that is helpful and thanks for your trouble in pushing this through. Richard Avery (talk) 08:19, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

For the first hook, if the text is in the Spanish page, or in an offline citation, that's OK as we can assume good faith. However, I did a quick Google Translate of those pages and didn't see it. Your second hook sounds OK, although again, I see the picture but don't see the text you describe. If it's there, we can assume good faith. Let me know how you want to proceed. --Esprqii (talk) 19:57, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
No, I don't see it either. I think I'd be happy just to let all this drop. I've clearly got some serious work to do on the article and it's not really ready for a DYK nomination. I apologize for unwittingly wasting your time and thanks for your patience. All the best. Richard Avery (talk) 22:41, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
