Usage

This template creates a standardised format for the data tables for the Census in the United Kingdom.

Parameters

The only required entries are the url and the table. The publisher should be one of the main authorities:

• England and Wales: Office for National Statistics
• Scotland: National Records of Scotland
• Northern Ireland: Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency

Vertical format:

Suppose you wanted to cite the Scottish details for ethnic group of the 2011 United Kingdom census. The code:

• {{cite United Kingdom census |url=http://www.scotlandscensus.gov.uk/documents/censusresults/release2a/scotland/KS201SC.pdf |table=Table KS201SC – Ethnic group: All people |publisher=National Records of Scotland |year=2011|access-date=12 April 2021}}

Would produce:
