Below are some preliminary comments. This article is very short and is largely based on a single source, the National Register of Historic Places filing. I am going to read carefully through the filing to check for close paraphrasing. Note this is not an accusation, just a safety precaution based on experiences with other articles I have read that are based largely on a single source.

• The lead mentions that Alter LLC bought the building in 2008, and the body mentions that Alter LLC sold the building for $3.5 million. First, facts mentioned in the lead should be also mentioned in the body. Second, what is Alter LLC, when did they sell the building, and to whom did they sell the building? Reading the OregonLive source, I don't think the description in the article does justice to what the article actually describes. Some clarification and expansion is needed.

I corrected the body... the building was purchased by Alter in 2008. Alter is an LLC associated with a foundation--I noted this in the body. Let me know if further expansion is required. --Another Believer _(Talk) 05:34, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

• The YU Contemporary Arts Center has been housed in the building in 2008, but did not open until November 2010? Also, they had their first exhibit in 2011? This timeline makes no sense. What were they doing during those three years, especially the latter part where the center was apparently open with no exhibits for several months?

I see no problem with this timeline. The building was undergoing major renovations following purchase in 2008. Also, the timeline is supported by reliable sources. I do not think the financial irregularities discussed in the OregonLive.com source are too relevant to this article, which is focused on the building itself rather than the operations of tenants. --Another Believer _(Talk) 05:34, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

• Is portlandart.net a reliable source? It looks like a blog.

Not sure. The claim referenced in the article is not major, but I could try to find a more reliable source to cite the date the center opened. --Another Believer _(Talk) 05:34, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

• The Description paragraph mentioned Egyptian revival architectural aspects but nothing I could see about Italian architectural aspects.
