editAbout the Third Generation Xmods, please do not delete the section. The "rumor" is in fact true and has evidence to back it up.

Once again, PLEASE do not remove the section.

editI just read the new change on this article saying that Xmods are being discontinued. I'm going to remove that for now because from rumors I have heard, the Evolution line is only being phased out and a third generation is in the talks.69.228.205.9 (talk) 05:11, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

editThis said citation needed, but simply no. This statement is so far from NPOV I think I died a little on the inside when I read it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SJ Zero (talk • contribs) 2 December 2006 00:20 UTC
Agreed, both due to NPOV and the fact that they're simply different products-- XMODS are more toy-grade, Mini-Z is a hobby-grade product. Nickm78 01:33, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
Hey fans
editI know you are all up about XMODS and think they're the greatest thing since sliced bread, but remember, wikipedia tries to be an encyclopedia. Listing the price of every single official modification available doesn't fit into an encyclopedia, and nor do warnings not to edit the page. Nickm78 02:10, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
"Modifications
XMODS can be extensively modified using parts supplied by RadioShack and other aftermarket vendors. The starter kits advertise the ability to change the motor, wheels, tires, trim kit, springs/shocks, and bearings (From nylon bushings to steel bearings), add lighting kits, and swap the crystal to allow the cars to operate on multiple frequncies.
Tutorials for modifications are also available on various XMODS forum sites. In Europe and Japan, HPI distributes XMODS, with the cars having the same colors as those offered in the U.S. by RadioShack, but also some exclusive body colors and body tops not available to the US market.
Even though each model has a different body, all models in a particular line share the same or similar chassis. The most notable difference in the chassis is its length relative to its body top. You can also add motor upgrades onto them for faster speeds.
I thought that last line might need a bit of revision. I hope i'm submitting this properly, as I'm honestly not too familiar with Wiki's discussion guidelines. 76.81.221.249 08:56, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
NPOV
editDo not add statements about quality of the product, as that violates NPOV. Nickm78 17:48, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
QALITY is not an opinion and if a product lasts for a year it is better than something that breaks in one day
P.S.Point Of Veiw is all about opinions —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.23.98.244 (talk • contribs) 2 January 2007 17:42 UTC
- If you can come up with some verifiable info about the quality, go for it. But don't go talking about how poor the quality is, in an encyclopedia article just because yours broke after one day. Besides, my XMODS have lasted well over a year. ;) Nickm78 20:08, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
