Removed unsourced material edit

I have removed the following because there is no URL included as the source of the information:

  • On a humorous portrayal of the history of the internet, "X10 sells its first camera" is placed as an event in the future, long after current time.

and

Some would argue that the disillusionment of online ads, mostly purported by the X10 company, were the final blow to Internet commerce that caused the dot com crash to take full effect.

If someone can track down which website has this portrayal of X10, feel free to re-insert this in together with the website address. Kimchi.sg 16:23, 2 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Camera security edit

I seem to recall a lot of stuff being in the news about how the wireless signal from the camera is completely unencrypted, and someone could sit in their car nearby with a laptop and about $100 of receiver hardware and pick up the signal. I'm pretty sure that'd be worth a mention here. --71.197.114.207 23:53, 22 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Non-POV edit

Very non-POV article needs to be re-written as an encyclopedia article, not a treatment of pop-under advertisement campaigns. --KJRehberg 23:59, 1 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Is there anything in particular you find non-neutral (the N in NPOV stands for "neutral", and articles should have a NPOV, or neutral point of view)? X10's claim to fame, it's legacy is as pop-under annoyance. That is what is notable about the company... But anyway, if you want to improve the article, go ahead. --Lijnema 15:14, 2 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

What's that stuff at the end, and where does it fit? edit

There is a big block of text at the bottom with the president of US X10 being accused of murder. It looks out of place, sloppily done and if it's true, should be integrated inside the actual article, not one big long footnote.

Somebody fix that mess. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.56.196.133 (talk) 06:16, 28 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
