InfoBox System: Ars Magica variant? edit

After I looked at the Ars Magica article, I wondered whether it would be a good idea to change the system line of the RPG InfoBox to one of the following:

  • Ars Magica variant
  • Custom: Ars Magica variant

As far as I know there's no official connection between them, but the mechanics are similar. Your call. -Kris Schnee 05:44, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Other than Bard Bloom admitting that he "borred heavily" from Ars Magica's magic system. Because that is based on a conversation it had directly with me, I don't think it's enough. Bear Eagleson

Nonsense English Usage edit

I can't make any sense at all out of this phrase: "if you roll the die's total, you roll again and add the die's sides, and if you roll the die's sides again, you repeat the process until you don't." HUH?? This reminds me of an "explanation" of the English game Cricket: "Each man that's in the side that's in, goes out, and when he's out, he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. When they are all out the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in out." Try to read this article from the POV of someone who's unfamiliar with the World Tree game, and you'll find sentences that simply don't enlighten the reader. -Amatulic 18:24, 27 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Notability edit

It did get an extremely high rating; would that be worth mentioning? -Kris Schnee 05:45, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think it qualifies as a notability standard. -Bear Eagleson
It could be class C if it had more material demonstrating its notability - in particular, more information about third-party reviews. These reviews should not merely be provided as external links, as they are currently - the opinions of the reviewers should be included within the article in a criticism section, and the links provided as reference for their statements.
