Error edit

There's an error about a third of the way through this article in the following sentence: "The market of the town was established when King Henry II gave Woodstock a Royal charter in 1279." King Henry II lived from 1133 till 1189, and in 1279 Edward I was king of England. I don't know whether the year or the monarch (or either) is correct in the above mentioned sentence, so I didn't change it myself. --G. Adams 03:52 May 07, 2005 (UTC)

Search edit

Why would a search for "Woodstock" point here, rather than to a disambiguation page? KConWiki (talk) 12:59, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Because Woodstock, England is the main place name using the name Woodstock. However other such occurences do go to a disambig page, so maybe a move needs to be done? chris4682 feb 08
