Really, Elmo adopted WL-HDI? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.191.69.149 (talk) 05:59, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Technology: remove Gemtek reference? edit

I have 2 concerns about the line
Gemtek starting Amimon WHDI solution shipping last month.

  1. when was that? I mean last month is pretty vague and refers to no date whatsoever.
  2. what's the encyclopedic value of that piece of info? I'm sure they are respectable company but I'm sure the place to mention that is not in that article.

I propose the deletion of that sentence. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.99.48.166 (talk) 08:33, 19 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Compressed or uncompressed? edit

Basing on my hands-on experience with WHDI based HDSDI transmitter and receiver I have to say, that there is an intra-frame compression used. Most likely some kind of JPEG or another DCT based codec. --MatiasPL (talk) 09:47, 24 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

History section edit

I believe the History section needs a rewrite, based on a comparison of this to most other articles' History sections. If anyone with more knowledge of this subject than myself has some free time, that would probably be a good project. 207.112.10.28 (talk) 18:12, 17 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

External links in Supporters section edit

Are the external links in the Supporters section appropriate? I didn't want to delete them myself, but it seems to me that if a company has a Wikipedia article, that should be the link instead, and if a company isn't significant enough to warrant an article, maybe it isn't significant enough to be mentioned in these lists either. 207.112.10.28 (talk) 18:14, 17 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Is WHDI still active? edit

I am wondering if the industry is still supporting WHDI? The lastes news post on their website is from beginning of 2012, so is their latest Facebook post. 194.39.218.10 (talk) 10:50, 4 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
