Hello, Mmariealysee. I will reply to your questions by bullet point:
  • Your attestment is of no value per wp:verifiability. I know, you may ask "why is my attestment of no value"? Okay, watch this: "As a former teacher, I can attest that at The Williams School, they salute the flag of Moldova every morning.". As you can see, there is no way anyone can challenge this... so citations are needed. Right now, I could blank the entire page and it wouldn't be against the rules as there are no citations.
  • The page has zero citations, all that you added was the school's website, which is not impartial. It isn't a neutral article... can you name a single negative or controvertial aspect of the school in the piece?
  • In terms of tone, it does read a little like an advertisement.
  • While some of the tense errors were corrected, there is a lot of editing yet to be done to clean up the article. Most of the "Academics" section needs to be pruned per Wikipedia:WikiProject_Schools/Article_guidelines. In particular the "Relationship with Connecticut College" section is not written like an encyclopedic entry. There are quite a few things like "Physical Education classes are offered to Middle Schoolers only. All middle schoolers must take gym." -- in a word, not well written.

I hope this helps! I'm happy to discuss anything else you like in further detail. Best, Markvs88 (talk) 17:11, 17 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

The article has been uncited for 15+ months, so it's a stub again. Best, Markvs88 (talk) 15:35, 12 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
And it's a stub again, as someone again copied and pasted from [1]. Markvs88 (talk) 00:25, 30 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Redirect

edit

I converted this article to be a redirect to the Williams Memorial Institute article because it had no information that was not in that article and no sources. It might make sense to delete this page and rename that article to Williams School (Connecticut), but I'll let someone else handle that. Indyguy (talk) 21:08, 17 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
