Improving the article

edit

FAO Wetman. So you didn't like my edit. Can I ask you to take another look because I think you've misread the intent. I'm happy to discuss the words that I removed, but I don't believe that the other changes—such as the rephrasing of a paragraph-long sentence—should have been undone.  —SMALLJIM  10:14, 27 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Actually, it's more important that this article and William Harrison (clergyman) are merged first, isn't it?  —SMALLJIM  18:13, 27 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
In the merge, do rephrase any sentences that tire the lip muscles. Don't drop relevant information: that's what Wikipedia is built from. The format William Harrison (1534-1593) is more professional than William Harrison (clergyman), easily overlooked for one looking for Harrison the writer. --Wetman (talk) 18:32, 27 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Good standard advice, but after some thought, and contrary to my second message above, I've reverted just to give you the chance to add back the information that you think is relevant into what I hope you agree is an improved framework, so would you take a few minutes to do that, please, because I'm sure it will assist whoever takes on the merge.  —SMALLJIM  20:10, 27 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
