WildBrain vs. Wild Brain Family International Limited

WildBrain Entertainment as a U.S. animation studio hasn't existed for a number of years. DHX announced that they were winding down production in L.A. back in 2013. I'm not exactly sure when they shuttered the studio (possibly when Yo! Gabba Gabba ended), but DHX officially got out of Los Angeles entirely in 2017:

"To date, we have realized synergies through the closing of our Los Angeles location and centralizing U.S. brands operations with Peanuts in a new New York office, as well as rationalizing duplicate functions and personnel company-wide." - DHX MEDIA REPORTS RESULTS FOR FISCAL 2017

The company currently doing business as WildBrain is actually a British YouTube MCN and animation studio founded by DHX in 2016. Legally, it's known as Wild Brain Family International Limited. These aren't the same studios. I propose we split them. Rename this article to DHX Media Los Angeles (which reflects its final name) and have a Wild Brain page focusing on the London studio/YouTube network. Damnedfan1234 (talk) 10:10, 18 March 2019 (UTC)

I’d actually think that both should be split into their own pages, for the same reasons on what you said. Luigitehplumber (talk) 16:00, 28 March 2019 (UTC)

I agree, but I'm against changing the name of the old Wildbrain article since virtually every other DHX acquisition was renamed under the DHX Studios brand. There are plenty of wiki pages for entities with similar names and a disambiguation page was enough.MarcoPolo250 (talk) 14:12, 26 April 2019 (UTc)

The rename shuffle got me to create a page specifically for the MCN. Damnedfan1234 (talk) 22:21, 2 October 2019 (UTC)

DHX Media is now WildBrain

More info to come. 174.88.37.18 (talk) 18:18, 23 September 2019 (UTC)

No you did not edit the article accordingly. Moving articles is prefered method. So merger. Spshu (talk) 20:49, 23 September 2019 (UTC)

You may be in the right for once Spshu, but your attitude is disgusting and annoying and me and other editors are actually f*cking sick of it at this point. Chill. HurricaneGeek2002 (talk) 01:16, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
