  • Since Hack A Day has spun off from Weblogs, Inc. it does not seem to me that this proposed merge is appropriate. i vote to keep the two articles separate. J. Van Meter 23:38, 16 November 2005 (UTC)
    • I agree per above. Keep 'em seperate. -Haon 23:42, 19 November 2005 (UTC)
    • Keep them separate. Hackaday is off Weblogs. Not too many reasons to merge them... -- WB 07:48, 26 November 2005 (UTC)
    • Separate - Hack a day is a site visited by many who use it as reference, however do not use any services or information from Weblogs, Inc. PatHaugen 23:08, 9 December 2005 (UTC)pathaugen
    • Separate - They're not part of Weblogs Inc. now, and the reasons for it are documented on Hack a day --AirExplosive 21:57, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
    • Merge - If Hack a Day is now independent it should be removed from the article. Why should we have two separate entries for Weblogs, Inc.?
    • Merge - The request is simply to merge the two Weblogs Inc. and Weblogs, Inc. entries, as one contains a comma, the other does not. This is not about merging Hack A Day's data or altering it in any way. --Gudlyf 11:25, 01 January 2006 (UTC)
  • engadget as well has spun off from Weblogs, Inc. and it does not seem to me that this other proposed merge is appropriate. I vote on this issue to keep the two articles separate. PatHaugen 23:11, 9 December 2005 (UTC)pathaugen
    • I agree, Engadget is notable enough by itself (if not more notable than Weblogs,Inc itself. For the similarly proposed merge of Joystiq to Weblogs, Inc., I also don't think that's a good idea, since it meets WP:WEB by itself with an Alexa rank of 6,838. If it really really must be merged to something, I'd merge it to Engadget, since I personally associate it much more with Engadget than with anything else. --Interiot 18:48, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
  • In case you didn't notice, they're only wanting to merge Weblogs Inc. and Weblogs, Inc. together, not Hack-a-day or Engadget. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gudlyf (talkcontribs)
    • Page histories show that the merge notices were removed after discussion occured here [1] [2] (in case you didn't notice, as one might put it). --Interiot 20:27, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
