Sorry, but I'm going to have to quick fail this nomination. The prose is not particularly well written. The article contains numerous factual inaccuracies, and in-line citations to reliable sources are lacking. The coverage is unbalanced, giving too much detail on the Buddha statue (which has its own article) and too little on the architecture, history and importance of the temple itself. I don't see outstanding issues regarding neutrality and stability; media use needs to be adjusted to better comply with the MOS.
