I disagree, solenoidal is a synonym for divergence free, and does not mean vortical. The statement should be removed.

I turned this article into a redirect to vortex, since it had no significant content and was defined as "pertaining to vortex". (It was also defined as "flow with nonzero vorticity", which is not quite the same thing but is contained in vortex anyway.) --Jorge Stolfi (talk) 06:47, 25 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
