What the hell is this? Somebody played a game and decided that their campaign was important enough to list in Wikipedia? What blatant abuse!

I'm guessing that the name for this campaign came from the band known by the same name. That would be a much more appropriate entry here. Since the campaign was most likely named out of respect for the band, you'd think that the author of this page would mention that.

Vision of Disorder deserves an informative wikipedia page

I took an entire day and really fleshed out wikipedia's VOD page. They were so underappreciated even during their prime and seem to have been pretty much forgotten by those who reside in the heavy music world, so I feel that this is my way of paying homage to one of my all-time favorite bands. Well, when I say homage, I meant fleshing out the wikipedia page, which was fairly obvious. You completely butchered this article. Your sense of grammar, punctuation and sentence structures are horrendous. I'm going to have to restore what I originally wrote.

"The Still EP attracted a strong underground following, particularly within the Long Island's hardcore community, which was sufficient to garner the band a major record deal. VOD's self-titled debut (released in 1996, on Roadrunner Records' subsidiary label, Supersoul). It was lauded by many old-school hardcore aficionados for its mixture of innovative sounds with traditional hardcore."

Read that paragraph out loud. Do you see the massive mistake here? Wow buddy, wow.

Anothing shining example of what amateurs are above:

"After touring in support of Imprint, Vision of Disorder became relatively inconspicuous within the heavy music spectrum. However, they eventually returned to the public eye, divested of Roadrunner Records and announced their plans to release For the Bleeders in 1999 on independent label, Go Kart Records. A compendium of 9 demo songs that were re-recorded specifically for this record."

I'm not trying to be harsh here, but if you're going to modify something, please at least maintain some sort of coherency. Thank you. TwentyDevils

Just for the record. TwentyDevils - your comments seem very arrogant and ignorant. It is quite clear that you have an extremely high opinion of yourself. The question is: is this opinion justified? One factor to consider in this regard is the fact that your writing skills are nowhere near as good as you appear to think they are. One approach which might be beneficial is for you to take a look in the mirror. Maybe you will see something you do not like.

I never claimed I was a good writer at all, and that isn't the topic at hand on this particular talk page. I pointed out and corrected a glaring error, for the sake of keeping up with Wikipedia's standards. It's as simple as that. Take a deep breath, buddy. Feel better? Good. -TwentyDevils

You guys are correct.. they are technically in the genre of New York Hardcore (NYHC)

The Enemy

I just found out about "The Enemy". Did this just fizzle and die? I hope that it is still in the works!

P.S. I'm pretty sure I was the guy complaining about this article being about some gaming campaign (the very first post). When I read it, I was like "this seems so familiar" and then I realized that I probably wrote it. Haha. That was a long time ago. SCooley138 (talk) 03:46, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

P.P.S. An unopened copy of "For the Bleeders" was going for $122 on Amazon. The fans are definitely still there. It would be great to get a new cd.
