Fonts edit

These remarks about fonts don't make much sense.

First, there is no such thing as "the default font". On which operating system? Macintosh? Windows (which?), Linux (which)? Guess what...on my Linux system, I'm seeing conjuncts in this text. But it depends on the particular fonts installed.

Second, Some fonts *do* feature such conjuncts, especially those meant for Sanskrit. Sometimes the user must somehow indicate the text is Sanskrit, in order to turn the conjunct feature on.

Third, I doubt that there is a "standard" Devanagari writing. I know the use of conjuncts varies greatly in printing, especially in Hindi -- and recently the trend is toward fewer conjuncts. If you said "standard Sanskrit", that might mean something (the letter ङ्क is I think used much more in Sanskrit than in Hindi -- correct me if I'm wrong.)
