This article isn't really right, because instead of "Verein für Socialpolitik" it must be called "Verein für Sozialpolitik". As I am no member of the english wiki, I would ask someone else to change this. 80.228.168.3 12:06, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

I am sorry, I just found the Homepage of this Verein, it is realy called "Verein für Socialpolitik", but the spelling semmed so terrible to me that I didn't think this could be right... 80.228.168.3 12:12, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

Year of foundation 1872 or 1873?

This article states the Verein für Socialpolitik is founded in 1872, but the German and Rusian Wikipedia say 1873. The Verein für Socialpolitik homepage also says "The Verein was founded in the year 1873", as do most german University sites.

The Japanese Wikipedia and Answers.com say it's 1972. UdovdM 10:09, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

"Verein für Sozialpolitik" should lead the reader to this article, because in many sources (including the high school textbook I'm reading right now) it's "Sozialpolitik" instead of "Socialpolitik". Also, I do believe the year in question is 1873, as it says so in my textbook as well as the official page for the society. Where does 1872 come from anyway? 88.112.26.246 18:40, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
