Not that it needs an article, just to note that possibly a more common usage, though of course the federal riding gets the a priori no-dab, is the Vancouver Centre tower and shopping complex at Granville & Georgia. Not sure why it would be notable enough to warrant an article, but lesser structures do have them, including buildings not actually built yet not three blocks away....if an article does get written, the site is notable as that of the Birks Building, one of Vancouver's Edwardian/art deco gems ,destroyed in the '70s, and also of the Strand Theatre (doors were on Georgia.Skookum1 (talk) 00:12, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
Why different chronological order? edit
The Members of Parliament table is in chronological order by date while the Election results are in inverse order by date. For ease of reading and understanding, shouldn't the orders be the same? Comments anyone? Cheers. Truthanado (talk) 17:33, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
RENTAL COMPANIES SND LANDLORD; CREDIT SCORES edit
The fact that a landlord is basing someones credit score on weather they rent to them or not; Is not only discrimination but also none of a landlords business. Thats the risk they take as a landlord. fact is is that sometimes people Loose their jobs or get sick and can't pay their rent. Life happens and that s the reality of being a landlord. But for landlord s to openly discriminate against a potential renter based on becoming score is only morally wrong but technically It's illegal, yet somehow they are getting away with it and one seems to care or are completely unaware that it discrimination. This needs to change and it need s to change now! And if anyone has been affected or denied a rental has to reported to the human rights tribunal and bring it to justice. Bottom line your not applying for credit or a loan or mortgage or a car loan. Your applying to RENT a housing unit. There s NO fundamental reason why a landlord should be allowed to ask your your beacon score. Far too many people are homeless because of this exact reason.
