Talk:Value (personal and cultural)/Archives/2016

This page is an example of dumbing down of Wikipedia

The stuff on here is pretty much the same as value (ethics) but just shows how normal people couldn't understand that page so they created this one, thinking they'd create an article about "values" as used in everyday language. But really, value (ethics) and this article talks about pretty much the same thing, one just seems to be more in "laymen's terms" and one in "ethics terms"; I'd much rather the value (ethics) article have a laymen's explanation than this sort of thing. Many people come on to Wikipedia to discover more about something but all this page does is state the obvious "in laymen's terms" pretty much.

Merged

I agree, and the existence of two articles for a single subject creates even more confusion, so I merged this article to Value (ethics). I didn't move the External links, since I think a Wikipedia article should include all notable information in itself, but feel free to include one if you think it deserves particular mention.
